Privacy policy

3D Color by Number has no accounts and no sign-in. We do not ask for your name, email address or phone number. This page explains what data the app and the services it uses handle, how long it is kept, and how you can delete it or withdraw consent.

Data that stays on your device

Your painting progress, hints balance, settings, snapshots and canvas layout are stored only on your device. We cannot see them. If your device is backed up by iCloud or Android Auto Backup, they may be included in that backup, under Apple's or Google's terms.

Data collected by the services the app uses

Analytics and crash reports (PostHog)

Only if you agree on the consent screen. Events about how the app is used (for example which screens you open and where you stop), crash and error reports, device model, operating system version, app version, language and approximate location derived from your IP address. They are linked to a random anonymous install ID, never to your name or contact details. With consent off, nothing is sent.

Ads (Google AdMob)

Free users see ads. AdMob collects device and advertising identifiers, IP address, ad interactions and diagnostic data to serve ads, limit repeats and prevent fraud. Where required, you are asked for consent first (Google's consent message in the EU and UK, and Apple's tracking permission on iOS, shown before your first ad). If you refuse tracking, we respect that and ads are not personalised. The app is set to the teen age-restricted ad treatment with a maximum ad content rating. Subscribers and ad-free buyers see no ads.

Purchases (RevenueCat)

RevenueCat processes your purchase and subscription status so the app can unlock what you bought. It receives an anonymous app user ID, purchase receipts and your App Store or Google Play purchase details. We never see your payment card. Paid features never depend on your tracking consent.

Model downloads (our content server)

Models are downloaded from our server, which sits behind Cloudflare. Like any web server, it and Cloudflare process your IP address and request details in routine logs to deliver files and protect against abuse.

App stores

Apple and Google handle your purchases, backups and the information you give them under their own privacy policies.

Retention

Deleting your data

Withdrawing consent

You can withdraw consent at any time in Settings (analytics) or in your device's privacy settings (iOS tracking permission, Android advertising ID). Withdrawing does not affect anything done before, and the app keeps working, including paid features.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, to object to processing, and to complain to your data protection authority. Write to the contact above.

Children

The app is made for adults and teens. It is not a kids product and is not listed in a kids category.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is published here with a new date.
